After completing college and three years of professional baseball, Bill started his own office automation company. This is where he learned the business principles necessary to be successful in business.
Bill was a business owner for over 20 years and conducted many a business meeting on the golf course. He realized that golf and teaching were his passion and in 1990 turned professional and began his golf career. Over the next 10 years, Bill won a number of tournaments as a professional. In his playing career, he has set five course records and shot over a dozen 62s' with 60 being his lowest score to date. Due to numerous leg operations and other injuries, his tournament career has slowed down, but it is far from over. Bill now couples his business acumen with his God given ability to play and teach to help golfers around the world reach their full potential on the golf course.
In 2000 Bill established THE LEARNING AND PERFORMANCE CENTER in Central California. His goal is to teach people how to perform on the golf course, not give golf lessons. Students enjoy instruction on multiple areas of the game; including course management, the mental side of the game, the physical side of the game, nutrition, fitness and how to conduct business golf.
"After all, golf is a great game that needs to be enjoyed."
During the past eight years Bill has been fortunate enough to spend time with some of the truly great teachers. They provided Bill with an excellent foundation and education. Additionally, he has received over 300 hours of supervised training and club fitting from his club company, HENRY-GRIFFITTS, a worldwide club manufacturer for the past 25 years. All of this has allowed Bill the opportunity to work with students and assist them in winning local, state, and national tournaments. "I love what I do There is nothing greater than the pleasure of seeing a new student or average golfer hit a great shot or getting feedback from a client that closed a major business transaction on the golf course."
